Our Story: Four Generations Of Excellence

Our journey began in 1906, when Arthur G. Williams (born Ratsikas) started painting homes in New York. From humble beginnings and a name inspired by Sherwin-Williams paint, he built a business, and a reputation, that his son, grandson, and now great-grandsons continue to honor.

Through challenges like the Great Depression, recessions, and evolving markets, one thing has never changed: our commitment to our clients and our craft. Today, A.G. Williams is led by Arthur and George Williams, with a team of over 30 trusted professionals, many of whom have been with us for decades.

A.G. Williams Painting Company takes lead safety seriously. For homes built before 1978, we follow EPA-required lead-safe renovation practices designed to help protect homeowners, children, pets, and our crews from lead-contaminated dust. As an EPA Lead-Safe Certified Firm, we provide the required pre-renovation education, use containment and dust-minimizing work methods, and complete careful cleanup procedures in accordance with federal guidelines. Our approach is rooted in professionalism, compliance, and care, giving homeowners confidence that their project is being handled with the attention and responsibility it deserves.
