A.G. Williams Walks To Support Breast Cancer

The Support Connection Walk NY is more than just a charity event. It represents hope, compassion, and neighbors standing together for families affected by breast and ovarian cancer. For A.G. Williams Painting Company, participating in the annual Support Connection Support A Walk is a natural extension of the company’s values and long standing commitment to giving back to the communities it proudly serves throughout New York and Connecticut.

In December, A.G. Williams Painting Company raised close to $2,100 for Support Connection by participating inthe 19th Annual Support Connection Support A Walk at Franklin D. Roosevelt State Park in Yorktown, New York. The funds raised directly supported free, confidential services for individuals and families impacted by breast and ovarian cancer across the country.

With more than 100 years of service behind its name, A.G. Williams Painting Company believes community involvement is not optional. It is part of who we are.

A.G. Williams Painting Company Participates in the Support Connection Walk NY

The Support Connection Walk NY brought together local businesses, families, survivors, and supporters, all united around a shared mission. Representing A.G. Williams Painting Company was Paul Viggiano, Director of Business Administration and Marketing, who participated in the walk for the third consecutive year.

Paul did not walk alone in spirit. His participation was backed by a company donation along with personal contributions from A.G. Williams Painting Company President and CEO George P. Williams, account representative and color specialist Liane Rigano, and Fairfield account representative Doug Kitchen.

Together, their efforts helped raise nearly $2,100 for Support Connection, surpassing expectations and continuing a tradition of meaningful involvement.

This kind of hands on participation reflects how A.G. Williams Painting Company approaches all of its work. Whether managing a large scale commercial painting project or supporting a local nonprofit, the company shows up with dedication, care, and follow through.

A Personal Reason Behind the Support Connection Walk NY

For Paul Viggiano, the Support Connection Walk NY carries deep personal meaning.

“My grandmother is a two time survivor of ovarian cancer, and helping people affected by ovarian and breast cancer is near and dear to my heart,” Viggiano shared. “This is not just about my grandma. This is about all of the women and families who are affected by these terrible diseases.”

Like many people in our community, Paul has seen firsthand how cancer touches families in lasting ways. When he first learned about Support Connection, he was inspired by the organization’s kindness, compassion, and tireless dedication to helping others through some of life’s most difficult moments.

That inspiration translated into action. After raising $1,500 the previous year, Paul set a goal of $2,000 for this year’s walk. Thanks to collective support from A.G. Williams Painting Company leadership and colleagues, that goal was achieved.
