A.G. Williams Painting Company is proud to be recognized in Westchester Magazine’s “Our Wunderkinds” feature, celebrating the region’s most promising young professionals. In the feature,Westchester Magazine Wunderkindsprofiled Paul as one of Westchester’s top young business minds, highlighting his steady rise from part-time helper to Director of Business Administration and Marketing. His story mirrors our company’s century-long legacy of hard work, mentorship, and dedication to the communities we serve in Westchester County and Fairfield County.
The Meaning Behind the Recognition
When Westchester Magazine Wunderkinds A.G. Williams Painting appeared in print, it wasn’t simply a nod to Paul’s career trajectory. It recognized the deeper mission that drives him, and our entire company.
For Paul, leadership means connection: understanding the needs of homeowners, property managers, and commercial clients while honoring the traditions that make A.G. Williams Painting Company a trusted name.
From coordinating large commercial repainting projects to guiding homeowners through color selection and maintenance planning, Paul embodies what we value most: professionalism, preparation, and a genuine passion for people.
How the Wunderkinds Honor Reflects Our Core Mission
The Westchester Magazine Wunderkinds A.G. Williams Painting feature highlighted the traits that define our business: reliability, safety, and a people-first approach.
Here’s how those same principles continue to guide our work today:
1.) Professional Project Management
Every project, residential or commercial, begins with listening. Our team takes time to understand each client’s goals, scheduling needs, and surface conditions before a single brush touches the wall. It’s a process rooted in respect for time and transparency.
2.) Commitment to Safety and Insurance
As Paul often reminds our crews, no job is successful if it isn’t safe. A.G. Williams Painting Company maintains rigorous training, OSHA-compliant practices, and full insurance coverage for complete peace of mind. Visit our Safety and Standards page to learn more.
3.) Communication and Consistency
Clear communication builds trust. Clients always know who to call, when crews will arrive, and how progress is tracked. It’s that reliability that made Westchester Magazine Wunderkinds A.G. Williams Painting stand out as a story about professionalism in action.
4.) Community Engagement
A.G. Williams Painting Company doesn’t just serve the community, we’re part of it. Paul’s leadership extends beyond projects, supporting local schools, events, and non-profits. We believe our success is measured not only in square footage painted but in relationships built.
The Heart of the Story: Paul’s Journey
Before earning his place in Westchester Magazine’s Wunderkinds spotlight, Paul’s story began working at A.G. Williams Painting Company during high school, learning early what it means to show up on time, respect the craft, and serve clients with care. While attending SUNY Farmingdale, he would arrive at the Pelham office by 6:30 a.m. to shadow George and Arthur Williams, eager to learn every aspect of the business, from estimating to scheduling to safety compliance.
That determination paid off. Upon graduating, Paul took on a leadership role that helped fuel the company’s growth. Within just two years, sales climbed from $3.2 million to $4.4 million. But for Paul, the numbers were secondary. His focus remained on people, helping employees build careers, ensuring clients felt valued, and strengthening A.G. Williams Painting Company’s reputation for reliability.
